Application description

Beleaguered Castle is a solitaire card game played with a deck of 52 playing cards. It is one of the games touted as "Freecell without cells" because its game play is somehow akin to the popular solitaire computer game but without extra empty spaces to maneuver. This game is also called Laying Siege and Sham Battle.

Main features:

• Supports portrait and landscape orientation. Square screens are also supported
• Three card skins with sharp and clear graphics
• Five game types:
  • Classic
  • Penelope's Web (foundations are empty at the start of the game; spaces can be filled by Kings only)
  • Selective Castle (foundations are empty at the start of the game and they build from the rank of the first card moved to the first pile)
  • Streets and Alleys (foundations are empty at the start of the game)
  • Stronghold (foundations are empty at the start of the game and there is a cell to accommodate a card)
• Current game state saved for each game type
• Play modes:
  • S600 version: drag&drop, tapping or keyboard
  • S600 version: 5-way navigation pad or keypad
